David Perry
Strength and Conditioning Consultant
Having graduated with a Ba (hons) in Sports Coaching from University of Central Lancashire in 2010 David was then asked to become a Junior Coach at the prestigious South African Western Province Rugby Institute for a year.
He further developed his skills working with sportspeople whilst working as Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach at Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Football Club for four successful seasons. This role completed a circle for David as he had also previously played for the club.
Throughout the last six years David has worked for Pro-fit as a Personal Trainer which has enhanced his skills when working with people and helping them towards their goals.
On a daily basis David works with people from the sedentary to semi-professional athletes, and from ages 9 to 74.
David prides himself on developing challenging yet achievable strengthening programmes for people targeted at short and long term goals and says that “making sure my clients and athletes are in the best possible condition before, during and after an event is my primary aim and I also hope it is enjoyable for the person doing it!”
When not in the gym David can be heard to frequently eulogise about the sporting prowess of anyone from his native Northern Ireland, is determined to also complete his first marathon and unfortunately also has a passion for Manchester United.
